at Blue Back Square

Amidst rising restaurant competition in the self-proclaimed “foodie” town of West Hartford,  Connecticut, Image client Blue Back Square aimed to solidify its reputation as the premier dining destination in the area with Connecticut’s inaugural burger competition. 

From the initial event strategizing through to the last bite, the Image team set to work to bring the Blue Back Burger Bash to life.

The Goals

Create an engaging public event, spotlighting Blue Back Square’s unique culinary experiences


Drive traffic and sales for restaurants, beyond the one-day event


Partner with an appropriate non-profit to raise local donations

  • Raised over $2,500 for local partner, Connecticut Foodshare

    We teamed up with Connecticut Foodshare, a local non-profit organization dedicated to combating hunger in the community serving the entire state of Connecticut. Their mission perfectly aligned with the food-centric nature of our event, amplifying its impact and significance.

  • Received 20K engagements and reached a total of 18K accounts on Facebook and Instagram.

  • Over 1,500 Guests in Attendance – 200% Over Our Goal

    Participating restaurants saw double-digit increases in traffic and sales resulting from exposure received from event

  • Secured over $124k in earned media coverage with a reach of 6.1M
